ABOUT THIS VOLUNTEER OPPORUNTIY
We are looking for a Receptionist/Administrator for our community centre. You will be welcoming guests, answering the telephone, dealing with general enquires about the centre and booking people onto courses. You will provide general administration support to the team – preparing letters/documents, collating data and general administration duties.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Basic IT Skill – Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Email
Clear and polite telephone manner
Pleasant personality and good people skills
Attention to detail
Good organisational skills
An ability to work on own initiative
PERSON SPEC/DUTIES INCLUDE: –
• Provide Front desk reception duties for the office which includes handling of all phone calls
• Receive and greet all visitors in a professional and warm manner
• Assist in General Office administration.
• Assist in the coordination of ad-hoc functions/events.
• Assist in any ad-hoc duties, projects and activities as and when required.
Flexible Working hours to cover 9 am – 5pm

ABOUT THIS VOLUNTEER OPPORUNTIY
We are looking for someone with the skills and enthusiasm to use social media to market and publicise New Images Youth & Community Centre. You will work with staff and volunteers to identify activities and opportunities. This opportunity would suit someone who is looking to give back to the community with drive and enthusiasm to help us maximise our impact and promote ourselves as widely as possible to the local community.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Ideally, we are looking for a self-starter, someone with a ‘can do’ attitude who is not afraid of hard work and wants to have fun. Experience of working within the community would be desirable but not necessary. Must have social media and IT skills/experience.
