Winsford Youth & Community Forum are pleased to announce their continued involvement in providing playschemes (although this year it has been renamed “Holiday Club”) over the summer period.  We have provided these activities since 1989 in support of the local Winsford community.

Sessions for 2020 are completely free, due to the kind support of our sponsors who are:

* Edsential

* Winsford Town Council

* Police Commissioner

* Darnhall Trust

* BBC Children in Need

We are also supported by ASDA, the police and Weaver Vale Housing Trust.

The “holiday club” this year will be held at New Images Youth & Community Centre, commencing on Monday 3 August and will run for 4 weeks over the summer break.

The funding provided to us is specifically aimed at children within families that are currently receiving free school meals and those that are considered vulnerable or children of key workers ONLY!

To adhere to social distancing rules and government guidelines, we must limit the number of children that attend each day to 24 per session and those 24 will be placed into their own “bubble” of 6 children.

We cannot stress enough the importance of PRE-BOOKING for this year…as unfortunately we will be unable to accept children that turn up on the day, that have not been allocated their set days.

To try and control numbers and set expectations, we are asking that the usual registration/consent form is filled out (where possible) in advance.  *THE FORM IS ATTACHED BELOW AND CAN BE DOWNLOADED DIRECTLY FROM HERE**

The completed form can then be returned to us via email at: by no later than 31/7 please (this is the deadline and any forms received after this date can sadly not be accepted).

Playschemes are carefully managed by our Play lead Coordinator, who is supported by a network of Play Workers. As expected all our staff are carefully trained and full DBS checks completed, full details of our statutory duties and insurance are given under the documents section of our website.

All details of the “Holiday Club” sessions can be found on the poster which is attached to this page for your information.

Please rest assured that although things will be a bit different this year, we guarantee that the sessions will be fun and a safe space for all the kids!  We are really looking forward to welcoming the kids back for the summer!

If you have any questions in the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01606 592734.
